Lower Graveyard - Santa Clara River Reserve

Difficulty Level: Easy

Distance: 2 miles round trip

TRAIL SUMMARY

Lower Graveyard is another trail found at the Anasazi Tempi’po’op junction.  The path is well marked and pretty easy to follow.  Winding towards the Santa Clara/Ivins mountains, the trail connects with Cholla trail after about 1 mile.  The trail descends over a few washes and passes over old river beds.  There is a consistent view of the area and the path passes a few trees that are probably pretty in the spring.  Over this 2 mile round trip trail is easy to follow and great for walking a dog or just exploring the Santa Clara River Reserve.
