Cholla - Santa Clara River Reserve
Difficulty Level: Easy
Distance: 2 miles round trip
TRAIL SUMMARY
Cholla, or sometimes known as Santa Clara River Gorge, is an easy trail off Lower Graveyard and Tempi’po’op. The path is very clear and easy to follow. It runs until reaching a sign indicating private property so the trail is only an out-and-back. There is a small incline but overall the trail is very easy. After about 0.6 mi, it connects with Lower Graveyard. Wildlife and unique vegetation are found along the path. Signs also indicate areas where Native Americans once were. Throughout the hike there is a great view of the Santa Clara/Ivins area.
