Red Hills Desert Garden
Red Hills Desert Garden is a botanical garden located near Pioneer Park on top of Dixie’s red rocks. Entrance is free and open to the public. The park consists of various flowers and shrubs. Each plant has a description and a QR code providing information and education on the species. Most of these plants are native to Utah. Along with the large variety of plants, there is a stream throughout the garden that leads to a small aquarium supplied with different types of fish. Dinosaur tracks are etched into the sidewalk as well as the path moves over streams and arches to provide a unique feeling of nature.
Overall, the Red Hills Desert Garden is a great place for families and children. With gazebos and benches along throughout the botanic garden, people can sit, eat, and explore the shrubbery of Utah. Since the garden is located above St. George, there is a great view of the city.
