The 4 Best Watering Holes to Visit This Summer

School has started and the feeling of summer is fading, however, the hot temperatures in Southern Utah are not. There is still plenty of time to get in those last summer activities that will make lasting memories and we figured that you just might want water included. We’ve come up with a list of watering holes close to the area that will make for a fun adventure with the family. These places are beautiful and unique and you don’t want to miss seeing them this year.

1. Little Jamaica

Little Jamaica is an oasis along the Virgin River in Littlefield, Arizona and is only a 30 minute drive from St. George. There are small waterfalls from the mountain spring that flows into a man made pool and then into the river.

2. Toquerville Falls

Toqerville Falls is a beautiful spot hidden away about 11 miles from Toquerville that will cool you off. It is a great place to swim and play in the water with the entire family. There are waterfalls and beautiful scenery that never gets old.

3. Sheep’s Bridge

Tubing down the river, jumping off the rocks and playing on sandbars… A mile stretch of river and lots of fun! This park is a great place for all ages!

4. Kanarraville Falls

This slot Canyon hike will never disappoint! It is 4.8 miles of lush green landscape and beautiful red mountains that ends with waterfalls. The trail takes you back and forth through the creek so you can’t do this hike without getting wet and the temperature cools down when you get into the slot Canyon.

More detailed information about these places can be found on the website. Don’t miss these perfect summer getaways!
