SITE INFO

The St George Tabernacle is a symbol of the hard work, sacrifice, and faith of the early St George Pioneers. Completed in 1876, it was built as a meeting house where prophets and apostles have spoken from its pulpit and community events have been held. The spiral staircase and hand chiseled stone are among the countless other details that show the craftsmanship of the day. Guided tours are given and community events are still held in this “jewel in the desert”.
